Zoe

Hi, my name is Zoe and I am eight years old. I live in Richmond, Virginia with my mom, dad, and little sister, Katy. I am in the 3rd grade. I love being in third grade and learning a great deal about ancient cultures and cool math tricks. Picture of Zoe

My teacher is so much fun and makes things so interesting. Right now we are making Mali Mask in my favorite class, Art. I like taking a lesson we have been taught and doing enjoyable things to go with. It is so fun creating new things with all different kinds of materials.

I think Art is my super favorite activity. I am always drawing, painting, and making things in nature like fairy houses. Now, I am decorating cakes so I can put art there too. I started taking cake classes when I was 6 1/2 years old. I have learned all kinds of ways to make decorations. My family and friends always ask me to decorate cakes for their parties now. I have made some cool ones like a giant rubrics cube, the Australian flag, and a skateboard on real wheels. I call my business Zoe's Sugar Sweets. I hope I can have a real bakery when I get older. When I am not at school I spend my time making cakes and playing with my little

sister. She is only 3 so I get to help teach her a lot with learning how to draw, write her name, or just learn how to play new games. She is so much fun most of the time, especially when she is trying to repeat big words and makes faces when we laugh at her. There are times when we fuss, but all sisters do that. I think we will always be great friends though. I can't wait until she is old enough to really do things with like helping me with my business. What fun that would be!

Right now I am also enjoying being part of the POPCORN KIDS. I was really shy at first but, I have had a great time getting to know them and doing fun activities. I think everyone should try new things. You may be surprised by what you can do if you put your mind to it. That is the advice my mom gave me and I would like to give to all of you.
