Christine, Leeanne and Julianna
Christine, Leeanne and Julianna are sisters who are active members of their community, Popcorn kids and good students.
Christine is well rounded and involved in many activities. Some of her interest and accomplishments include:
• Playing the violin and performing in the Arts and Science Festival as part of the All County Orchestra where they performed the 1812 Overture and Eleanor Rigby. Soon she will be performing in a concert with Mark Wood (Trans-Siberian Orchestra).
• Christine was on the Reading Olympics where she was captain of her team.
• She is a Trec Mentor (she goes to 6th classes and help out).
• Girl Scouts where she is working on her Silver Award.
• Plays basketball in the fall and is a member of the Ashcreek Crocodiles swim team in the summer.
• Went to horse camp last summer where she learned about horses and their care.
• This past summer Christine and her family went to Luray Caverns where she discovered she has a fear of being underground.
Christine along with her mother went to Baltimore, Maryland to visit the orphanage director where she was adopted from in China, Mrs. Yu. It was a lot of fun because she was able to visit other Chinese kids and make friends.

Leeanne is a Girl Scout (Cadette) and she has completed her Bronze Award. She is currently in the choir at church and helps out at Vacation Bible School.
Leeanne is going to Boot Camp where she will learn leadership skills. Leeanne also was chosen by school administrators to be “shadowed” at school by a rising 6th grader. One 5th grader from each class comes to middle school for a day to see what middle is like and they “shadow” a current 6th grade student. That student reports back to her 5th grade and tells them what to expect in Middle school.

Julianna is a Brownie, plays basketball for the Upward League and last year played soccer for Upward. She loves going to Camp Evening Shade and plans to attend again this summer.
Julianna is a vibrant, fun loving young girl who enjoys telling jokes and riddles all the time.
She made up her own “knock- knock” joke, which goes like this:
Knock, Knock
Who is there?
Who?
Who, who?
Who, Who let the dog’s out!!!! Who who.
She also has an amazing memory and enjoys telling us every detail of her social studies lessons at school. She has told us a dozen times this year every detail about Susan B. Anthony.
